Building A Champion helps students develop the skills they need to thrive in school and beyond. Through engaging lessons, interactive games, discussions, and hands-on activities, students practice understanding their emotions, managing challenges, building healthy relationships, resolving conflicts, and making thoughtful decisions. The program gives children opportunities to use these skills in situations they recognize from their own classrooms, friendships, and lives.
As a certified school counselor with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential, and a Masters Degree in Education Counseling, I bring Building A Champion directly into schools. I can work with school leaders and staff to deliver a series of student SEL lessons during the school day, tailored to the grade levels and needs of their students. My school counseling background helps me connect each lesson to the social and emotional challenges students face at school, while giving them practical skills they can use every day.
